A&D Vitamin
Vitamin D is a vitamin. It can be found in small amounts in a few foods, including fatty fish such as herring, mackerel, sardines and tuna. To make vitamin D more available, it is added to dairy products, juices, and cereals that are then said to be “fortified with vitamin D.” But most vitamin D – 80% to 90% of what the body gets – is obtained through exposure to sunlight. Vitamin D can also be made in the laboratory as medicine. Vitamin D is used for conditions of the heart and blood vessels, including high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Vitamin A is a nutrient that can be found in eggs, milk, liver, fortified cereals, carrots, spinach (and other leafy greens), and yellow or orange vegetables such as squash. Antioxidants are substances that may protect cells from the damage caused by unstable molecules known as free radicals. |

L Argentine;
In the body, the amino acid arginine changes into nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide is a powerful neurotransmitter that helps blood vessels relax and also improves circulation. Some evidence shows that argenine may help improve blood flow in the arteries of the heart. That may improve symptoms of clogged arteries, chest pain or angina, and coronary artery disease. |
|
L- Carnitine
Carnitine helps make energy in your body. Most carnitine comes from the liver and kidneys, but you also get some from food.. Acetyl-L-carnitine helps the body produce energy. It is important for heart and brain function, muscle movement, and many other body processes. |
|
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a vitamin. Some animals can make their own vitamin C, but people must get this vitamin from food and other sources. Good sources of vitamin C are fresh fruits and vegetables, especially citrus fruits. Most experts recommend getting vitamin C from a diet high in fruits and vegetables. Fresh-squeezed orange juice or fresh-frozen concentrate is a better pick than ready-to-drink orange juice. The fresh juice contains more active vitamin C. Drink fresh-frozen orange juice within one week after reconstituting it for the most benefit. It you prefer ready-to-drink orange juice, buy it 3 to 4 weeks before the expiration date, and drink it within one week of opening. There is some thought that vitamin C might help the heart and blood vessels. It is used for hardening of the arteries, preventing clots in veins and arteries, heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. |

Vitamin B100
April 15, 2010 -- Foods rich in B vitamins may reduce the risk of death from stroke and heart problems, Japanese researchers say. Their study looked at the effects of B vitamins on men and women separately, but findings suggest that foods containing the B vitamins might benefit people of both sexes. Sources of B vitamins include vegetables, fruits, whole or enriched grains, fortified cereals, beans, and legumes. B-6 sources include fish, vegetables, liver, meats, whole grains, |
|
B 3 Niacin
Having enough niacin, or vitamin B3, in the body is important for general good health. As a treatment, higher amounts of niacin can improve cholesterol levels and lower cardiovascular risks. Niacin has other benefits. There's good evidence that it helps reduce atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries in some people. For people who have already had a heart attack, niacin seems to lower the risk of a second one. |
|
B6 Vitamin
This member of the B vitamin family is plentiful in foods like beef, turkey, vegetables, and fish. Because vitamin B6 is water-soluble, the body is constantly ridding itself of it, so you need to restock it daily through diet. Not getting enough vitamin B6 may increase the risk for heart disease. Studies have found that people who lack enough of this vitamin have high levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), a marker of inflammation that has been linked to heart disease. |
|
E Vitamin
Vitamin E is a vitamin that dissolves in fat. It is found in many foods including vegetable oils, cereals, meat, poultry, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and wheat germ oil. It is also available as a supplement. Some people use vitamin E for treating and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels including hardening of the arteries, heart attack, chest pain, leg pain due to blocked arteries, and high blood pressure. |
|
Folic Acid
Folate and folic acid are forms of a water-soluble B vitamin. Folate occurs naturally in food. Foods that are naturally high in folate include leafy vegetables (such as spinach, broccoli, and lettuce), okra, asparagus, fruits (such as bananas, melons, and lemons) beans, yeast, mushrooms, meat (such as beef liver and kidney), orange juice, and tomato juice. Folic acid is needed for the proper development of the human body. It is involved in producing the genetic material called DNA and in numerous other bodily functions. "If all that is required to prevent the greatest health threat worldwide is a vitamin, then we need to consider checking patients' blood levels of folic acid and supplementing if needed," said Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, a preventive cardiologist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. The new study was led by Dr. Yong Huo of Peking University First Hospital in Beijing. Huo's team tracked outcomes for more than 20,000 adults in China with high blood pressure who had not suffered a heart attack or stroke. |

Alpha Lipoic Acid
Alpha-lipoic acid or ALA is a naturally occurring compound that's made in the body. It serves vital functions at the cellular level, such as energy production. As long as you're healthy, the body can produce all the ALA it needs for these purposes ALA is an antioxidant. Antioxidants protect against damage to the body's cells. There are food sources of ALA such as yeast, organ meats like liver and heart, spinach, broccoli, and potatoes. Some people use alpha-lipoic acid diseases of the heart and blood vessels (including a disorder called cardiac autonomic neuropathy) |

Red Rice Yeast
Red yeast is the product of rice fermented with Monascus purpureus yeast. Red yeast supplements are different from red yeast rice sold in Chinese grocery stores. People use red yeast as medicine. Red yeast is used for maintaining desirable cholesterol levels in healthy people, reducing cholesterol in people with high cholesterol. |
|
Co Q10
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a substance similar to a vitamin. It is found in every cell of the body. Your body makes CoQ10, and your cells use it to produce energy your body needs for cell growth and maintenance. It also functions as an antioxidant, which protects the body from damage caused by harmful molecules. CoQ10 is naturally present in small amounts in a wide variety of foods, but levels are particularly high in beef, sardines, mackerel, and peanuts. Coenzymes help enzymes work to digest food and perform other body processes, and they help protect the heart and skeletal muscles. |
|
Nattokinase
Nattokinase is an enzyme (a protein that speeds up biochemical reactions) that is extracted from a popular Japanese food called natto. Natto is boiled soybeans that have been fermented with a bacterium called Bacillus natto. Natto has been used as a folk remedy for diseases of the heart and circulatory system (cardiovascular disease) for hundreds of years. Nattokinase, the chemical in natto that is probably responsible for its effects, was discovered by a University of Chicago researcher, Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi. Nattokinase is used for cardiovascular diseases including heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, chest pain (angina), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), hemorrhoids, varicose veins, poor circulation, and peripheral artery disease (PAD). |

Iodine
Iodine is a chemical element. The body needs iodine but cannot make it. The needed iodine must come from the diet. As a rule, there is very little iodine in food, unless it has been added during processing, which is now the case with salt. Most of the world’s iodine is found in the ocean, where it is concentrated by sea life, especially seaweed. The thyroid gland needs iodine to make hormones. If the thyroid doesn’t have enough iodine to do its job, feedback systems in the body cause the thyroid to work harder. These hormones regulate heart functions. |

EXTRACT TEAS
These extract teas are made with the freshest, organic, wild-crafted (where possible) non sulfured herbs available, many grown right here on the property. All are made with 40% grain vodka, and pure water, steeping for a minimum of 2 months.
The Vodka dissolves the oil soluble characteristics of the plant, and the water dissolves the water soluble contributions. It is ONLY a combination of both that results in ALL of the properties of the herb being usable for healing. Interestingly enough, the alcohol in the extracts does not have the same effect on us that even a 1/4 ounce of the straight vodka would have.
