Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Processing: 1 minute Yield: 3 3/4 cups (880 g) Ingredients 6 ounces (170 g) roasted red peppers 1/2 cup (120 ml) water 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil 1/2 cup (120 g) tahini paste 21/2 Tablespoons (38 ml) lemon juice 2 garlic cloves. Peeled 1 teaspoon hot sauce 2 (15-ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon unrefined sea salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Method 1. Place all ingredients into the vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
2. Select variable 1. 3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High. 4. Blend for 1 minute until smooth, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades. Add water if necessary to keep mixture flowing freely through blades. PUREE
