pH is a measure of alkalinity and acidity.
The pH scale goes from 0 to 14. At a pH of 7 there is balance, and a solution is neutral. Optimal pH for the body id 6.4. If you are acidic, the numbers on the scale will read a number lower than 7. Those readings above 7 are alkaline. The principle of pH begins with a definition of the term pH. ‘P’ comes from power. The ‘H’ is the symbol for Hydrogen. Together, the ten pH means the hydrion ion exponent. This is a measure of the speed and direction of the electrons around the nucleus. The pH of a substance is a specific measure of its acidity just as a degree is a specific measure of temperature. A specific pH value tells the exact acidity. Each unit on the pH scale actually represents a 10 fold difference in acidic activity. Thus a pH 4 solution is ten times as acidic as a pH 5 solution, and pH 3 has 10 times more acidity than the pH 4 solution, and 100 times the acidify of the pH 5 solution. |

pH EVALUATION INSTRUCTIONS
Take your pH 2 hours after breakfast everyday. Record them on the sheet provided along with the other information requested.
Acid condition: pH below 6.4.
Alkaline condition: pH above 6.4

4. Document your pH of both urine and saliva to the chart provided for you to use.

How Important Is It?
ALL diseases thrive in an acid environment. So, if all diseases thrive in an acid environment, can an imbalanced pH cause serious problems? Most, if not all degenerative diseases including heart disease, cancer, diabetes and excessive weight gain may be caused by an imbalanced pH called, potential of hydrogen. With the correct acid/alkaline balance, you can prevent almost all sickness, including cancer, heart disease, heart attacks and aids.
Cancer is a condition in which the body cells become abnormal due to the unbalanced condition of body fluids. Cancer and Candida need an acid condition in order to thrive and spread. An easy test that you can do anywhere that is very inexpensive is with litmus paper. It is specially designed for the purpose of checking the pH of the urine and saliva.
