Our Families
Food Eating Guide

* We do not eat any pork, catfish, ostrich, squirrel, raccoons, possum or shellfish of any kind ( lobster, shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels or crawdads). Studies have shown that these foods digest catabolically through the digestive tract, which means that they spin the opposite direction through the intestines, and burn through or break the cilia that line the small intestines This creates an effect resulting in larger protein particles being absorbed into the bloodstream instead of the broken down amino acids that make up protein.. The body then turns the extra protein into urea, ( which is what gives our urine odor) which is then converted to urea crystals. These crystals are like sharp needles of glass, pointed at both ends, which irritate joints ( which can lead to arthritis) and poke small holes in the cardiovascular vessels. These are patched with plaque so we don't leak. ( which can lead to cardiovascular diseases). Besides all this, our Heavenly Father gave us a promise and said that if we would not eat these meats, the diseases of the gentiles would not come upon us. Good enough for us. Coincidentally it would appear that God  got it right.

* We have tried to eliminate as much refined foods as possible. This include white flour, rice, salt, sugars, milk, oil, instant anything,  potatoes without their skins etc. Studies have shown that refined foods are quickly converted to glucose which stresses many organs including the pancreas. As much as possible, we eat freshly ground whole wheat, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole raw sugar, unrefined Celtic sea salt, virgin olive oil, long cook, steel cut oatmeal, and whole milk. ( When I am concerned with the fat content I  dilute whole milk with distilled water.)

* We eat very little processed foods. Kevin Trudeau states it this way (paraphrased); If you can't spell it or pronounce it, don't eat it.

* If it is a food that cannot be found in its natural state somewhere in the world, we do not eat it.
* We shop the outside of the grocery store  where the fresh items are. Most boxed, canned or packaged products are not purchased.

*If the food has been altered in some way from its natural form, we do not buy it. We buy whole milks and cheese. We do not buy low fat, no caffeine, fortified, etc. anything. We believe that you cannot improve on Gods original creation.
* Organic does not necessarily mean good. We do buy organic eggs, but not much else organic as we cannot afford it.  So we grow everything we can in an organic garden. (See the section ‘Our Garden’ for some interesting and easy maintenance ideas). Also,  besides being expensive, it is not always better. Fresh is not always better for the same reasons. "fresh" organic or otherwise is usually not fresh. Depending on where it has come from it may have been picked weeks to months before it comes to your store. Vegetables and fruits begin to breakdown and decay from the second they are picked.
Picture

Out of  season we eat mostly frozen fruits and vegetables, as these are usually washed and flash frozen immediately upon being picked, sometimes right out in the field. If they are not they look wilted and unappetizing to the consumer in the bag. The chemical pesticide residues that may still be on them (since they are not organic), can be relegated to 'gone' washing them in water ozone-ated using  an ozonater in the washing and rinsing water.

*We do not drink soft drinks except on a very rare occasion.

EATING NUTRITIONALLY GREAT

Most of us eat plenty yet our bodies are starving. The body starves when it is fed dead foods - processed foods with sugar, flour and rancid oils. To create health, the body must have a rich supply of nutrients.

Drink the proper amounts of distilled water.

Eliminate refined foods.
This includes, but is not limited to white flours, cane and corn sugar products, hydrogenated oils, all margarine, all processed meats, all boxed foods, anything that has been processed and changed by man,  has anything in it you cannot pronounce, or is not readily available in its most natural form.
Picture
Eliminate drinking with meals, as it will dilute digestion.
Degeneration and aging is also aggravated by certain types of toxic animal flesh meats.  It makes no difference how the animal is raised and cared for. There is a biochemical effect on the person consuming its meat as food, contained in certain animal products. Even if the animal is fed the best organic, vegetarian diet that is possible, there is something about the way that animal’s body chemistry structures and develops its flesh that makes it toxic to the human consumer. The meat of these animals actually releases excessive energy during the digestive process producing an effect similar to burning high test fuel in an engine that is not built to stand the extra heat. Parts of the engine would demineralize. In other words, the engine would eventually be burned and break down. Your body acts in a similar way to the use of meats from these certain animals. Of course, the higher the mineral reserve of the person eating these meats, the longer they can get away with it.
Therefore, avoid the following meats. all pork products, or any pork additives in foods or cosmetics, all catfish, shellfish, raccoon, possum, squirrel, and any predatory bird, also the ostrich. These meats burn through the digestive tract too quickly, resulting in undigested proteins being absorbed into the bloodstream, which can lead eventually to many other seriously debilitating non-health conditions.

Picture
Avoid the fats on meats and animal entrails ( internal organs) .
Rinse cooked ground beef with boiling water to remove all fat. Remove the skins from chicken and turkey before cooking and avoid eating it.  These parts of the animal are the natural storage areas the animal has for toxins, so toxins are in higher concentration in fat and internal organs.
Eat a small amount (10-15%) of a natural, good fat at each meal. Your body needs some fat in order to burn off other fats in your body and properly metabolize.  Eat a small amount of real butter, olive oil, fresh flax oil, a small amount of cheese, or a few unroasted/raw nuts.
Fat that has not been heated above 96 F,  unsalted raw butter, raw eggs, raw cream, no-salt added raw cheese, avocados, fresh coconut, macadamian  and brazil nuts and stone pressed olive oil are acceptable, and are the easiest to digest, assimilate, utilize and aid the body in binding toxins and carrying them to the bowels and out of the body.
Refined sugars are not good for any one.
If you are suspecting you have any kind of yeast or Candida infection, especially stay away from sugars.  Yeast thrives on sugar. (That is why sugar is added to wine and beer productions for fermentation. ) Therefore also stay away from alcohols. Use a sweetener such as Stevia. Honey may be used sparingly.

    If you suspect you are having a metal toxicity problem;
Do not eat any processed foods whatsoever, especially canned. Eat only fresh or frozen. Have metal fillings removed. Distill your tap water especially if you have any metal in your pipes, either in your home or from the water source. Cook with glass instead of metal pots and pans. Do not cook with anything aluminum. Do not use aluminum foils on foods.
AVOID THE USE of ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

AVOID MSG.
Sources of hidden MSG are/ can be; Monosodium Glutamate, Hydrolyzed vegetable Protein, Hydrolyzed Protein, Hydrolyzed Plant Protein, Plant Protein extract, Sodium Caseinate, Calcium Caseinate, Yeast Extract, Textured Protein, Autolyzed Yeast, Hydrolyzed Oat Flour, Malt Extract, Malt Flavoring, Bouillon, Broth, Stock, Flavorings, Natural Flavoring, natural beef or chicken flavoring, Seasoning, Spices, Carrageenan, Enzymes, Soy Protein Concentrate, Soy Protein Isolate, Whet Protein Concentrate
Picture
Eat a small amount of protein ( 20-30%) at each meal.
This can include peanut butter, beans, eggs, whole milk, meat etc. Eat meat at least every other day. Our bodies digest this form of protein the easiest. Just do not over do it. ( An amount which fits on the palm of your hand.)

Eat lots of good carbohydrates (70-75%) each meal.
Eat bran cereals at least 4x/week, and long cook oatmeal every other day. These will help eliminate heavy metals and toxins, as well as help restore the bowels and elimination. Eat fresh or frozen vegetables, lightly steamed. They should  still  be solid, and brightly colored. They should not be soft. Until health has been fully regained, eat very little raw vegetables, as your body has difficulty getting any nutrients from these. Lightly steaming releases the benefits for digestion before prolonged heat has destroyed them.  Eat brown rice with most large meals. Whole wheat and brown rice have the most perfectly balanced amounts of nutrients for the human body. Eat potatoes sparingly, and only with the skin.
Drink a home made fruit/herb smoothie in the morning with your breakfast of bran, old fashioned rolled oats and home-baked bread. . This is a perfect break- fast from the night for your system, as it now gets everything it needs to start the rest of the day.

Picture
Picture
Drink at least 1 cup of herbal tea per day.
If you are especially debilitated, 3 cups sipped throughout the day would be beneficial according to studies.
Eat the bread from the recipe provided at least once per day. It is at least easy to make ( bread maker) and it tastes really good.

Use Celtic sea salt on your meals.

Eat salads, especially romaine lettuce with olive oil dressings.

    Drink whole milk with breakfast.
2% and skim have had chemical added in order to remove the fats. It is in what is removed that your body will benefit the most from. God created whole milk, so drink small amounts in its most natural form. Goat milk is the most superior. Any baby animal will die on 2%.
Picture
Basically the rules for a great diet for exuberant health are simple; eat as much as you can in its most natural form, eat a variety of foods each meal, and drink lots of pure water. Any diet that stresses no fat, no/low carbohydrates or no/low protein will help you temporarily lose weight, but it can also seriously damage your metabolism. Your body is nothing more or less than a chemical factory. It needs all three in proper proportion in order to effectively operate. You may gain temporary results, but it will be at a cost not easily repaired. Excess weight in the future will be next to impossible to remove after one of these fad diets. Ask anyone who has ever been on one. Eat as God recommended in the scriptures. He spoke of eggs, meat,  milk, honey, fruits, whole grains, and the herbs of the fields to name a few.  They are all good for us in proper proportion.

AVOID; Pork, shellfish, catfish, oysters, ostrich, refined sugars, refined flours, any oils other than olive, all hydrogenated fats and oils, regular table salt, all meats with nitrates such as hot dogs and processed meats, processed cheeses.

MINIMIZE; All caffeine products. Do not drink or eat unnaturally grown decaffeinated products.
