Osteoarthritis

OSTEOPOROSIS TAKES MANY FORMS.

A  simple  bone  scan  may  not be  a  good  indicator of osteoporosis. For one thing,  these scans compare  an  older woman's  bones  to  those  of a healthy  35-year-old.  And scans  can  be inaccurate and yield  different results  from one machine  to another. It is also extremely important to note that osteoporosis takes many form–and can even be misdiagnosed if the hip,  spine,  and arm bones are all fairly healthy.

The first place where  osteoporosis  becomes evident is in the mouth. The bony  tissues  around the teeth begin to break down, teeth become loose, and gum disease becomes apparent. In these cases a special preparation of raw bone is needed.  Bone itself appears to be a very static tissue–not very active in taking  up  and  utilizing  nutrients.  This however is far from the truth. Bone is a dynamo, multipurpose tissue. It is a storehouse for minerals, including calcium, phosphorus,  and manganese. It also  stores  proteins,  amino  acids,  enzymes,  and more.

Picture
So when it comes to breaking the osteoporosis cycle that may  start in the mouth, these kinds  of nutrients  are needed.  It is so easy task to take  supplements  from raw  bone,  Bio Dent (SP) includes even the marrow. Imagine the fatty  mess  of dealing with raw bones. Yet this is what is needed .to  get the job  done.  I  don't know  of any  other company making a good raw bone supplement. As for bone  meal, it is about as useful as eating sand. After days to weeks of boiling, all of the life force has been cooked out of it.

The  same  can  be  said  about  most  cooked foods. The proteins are altered as some of the amino  acids  are destroyed  or rendered inactive.  The same goes for pasteurization of milk. This process destroys  the  enzyme  phosphatase,  making the phosphorus in milk almost useless to  the human body.

But when the raw  nutritional compounds  are used,  amazing changes take place. Unless the jaw bones and tooth sockets are destroyed by infection, teeth will tighten up in  a matter of weeks on nine to  12 Bio-Dent daily. The deteriorating bone will regenerate itself. And this can be seen on pre and post x-rays.

Arthritis?

Lots  of arthritis  is  or has  its  basis  in  osteoporosis. You may  wonder, how  can  a disease  of calcium buildup be caused by a disease of lack of calcium? As bones become weak and osteoporoic, the body will try to bolster itself by calcifying or making hard some of the cartilage and even some of the ligaments  around bones.  Often this buildup of calcium is the real cause of arthritis  aches  and pains. When a raw foods diet and supplements of raw bone are used, the body will slowly reabsorb the excess  calcium buildup in the soft tissues.

Rheumatoid arthritis is usually a different condition. It may or may not be associated with osteoporosis.  A  good raw  bone  protocol,  along  with potential treatment of bacteria in the joints, is the treatment of choice.
What  about  calcium  supplements?  Doctors simply dismiss their patients with  a prescription to take  1,200 mgs of calcium daily. While calcium is critical to good bone health, it is only one in a long list of nutrients needed. Raw bone, like supplies calcium along with the ancillary nutrients the body needs, in the right combinations and fractions .

When it comes to calcium,  Lactate calcium is the form  most easily  assimilated.  It is  sometimes used in conjunction with the other products mentioned for treatment of people with osteoporosis and arthritis. But calcium is used mostly to supply bicarbonate  (calcium bicarbonate)  in the blood. This  helps  buffer  all  the  acids from  grains  and cereals. It also balances the phosphoric  acid from these  same foods  in order to  provide for proper bone development and muscle activity.

This is particularly true with infants and young children, who need a constant supply of foods rich in calcium. The child who is deficient in calcium is indeed  an  unhappy  child.  This  child will not be able to  sit still because of excess nervous energy. And an acute deficiency  of calcium in the blood leads to fevers~the end result being a child who is susceptible to  infections,  colds,  flu,  ear infections, and more.

Treatment of choice is  always  Congaplex by Standard Process, which combines Calcium Lactate, the whole vitamin C complex (Cataplex ACP) and  a Thymus  gland extract (Thymex).  One  an hour.,  even  in  infants,  will usually  resolve  acute fevers  and colds  in eight to  12 hours.  Thereafter a steady  supply  of  Calcium  Lactate  is  always needed.

For kids who are hyper and uncontrollable, be sure to supply them with adequate Calcium Lactate and the riboflavin~rich B  vitamin  complex.  Six each  of Calcium Lactate and  Cataplex. G  (the 8 vitamins needed in this  kind of case)  can  often produce Miracles.

Allergies and Pain

In  a strange way  allergies,  arthritis,  and osteoporosis  are  all related.  The patient who is  too  alkaline (suffers from alkalosis) is usually also prone to  arthritic pains, bursitis,  and  allergies.  Alkalosis is  necessary for any  allergic condition to  develop. People who are too alkaline are often longtime antacid users,  women in menopause,  and folks  who eat a 100% cooked-food diet.

In a chronic state of alkalosis, calcium will not be  utilized  properly  in  the  body.  Instead  it  will settle into joints  producing  bursitis,  neuritis,  and arthritis.  This  type  of person  is  usually  nervous, irritable,  allergic, has problems  with lots  of foods and  drugs,  suffers from insomnia,  and  will  get much  worse with  any  kind  of heavy  breathing exercises  (which  will  make  him  or  her  more alkaline).

Picture
The answer in these kinds of cases is of course to get back into an acid/alkaline balance. This will usually require eliminating  antacids  and  eating  at least one third of your foods raw. If you don't have ulcers,  you may need to  use one to two  Cal-Amo  tablets  per meal  for three months,  slowly  diminishing this  dose  to  one  per day.  This  will  help you achieve acid/alkaline balance, maintaining calcium where it is  needed and  stopping its  deposits from forming in the joints and causing bursitis, etc.

If you have trouble with bursitis  that flares  up from a bruise or overwork,  it is  another sign that you may be  overly  alkaline.  Again,  resolution  of the alkalinity with diet changes and Gal-Amo will correct this condition. The same is often true of the pan-allergic person (allergic to almost everything). Cat-Amo and dietary changes  accomplish this balance by supplying the acidifying chloride compounds to bring acid/alkaline balance at the cellular level. This in turn supports healthy joints, better respiratory  and breathing function,  and  stronger bones. The opposite of the alkaline person is  the acid type who  is  often  diabetic  and suffers from heart problems  and rapid heart beat. These people need alkaline minerals including potassium  and  a low  carbohydrate diet that excludes  most grains and cereals.

So remember that osteoporosis  is  a lot more than just a bone scan. With everything related to the skeleton, the whole picture must be examined, and the whole nutritional spectrum must be employed.  Anything  less  than  that  will  give suboptimal results, if any at all.
