gallbladder
liver flush

GALL   BLADDER/LIVER   FLUSH

Excepted  from  the  copyrighted  works  of  Dr.   A. Howard MD
NOTE:     For  a  SEVERE  gall  bladder  attack,   see  the   information in  items   14   through  15  at  the  end  of  this  paper.

1.      The  Non-digestibility  of  Artificially  Hydrogenated   (hydrogen added)   Fats:

A.      Artificially     hydrogenated     fats     and     shelf      life      Artificially    hydrogenated     fats     (artificially     saturated    with hydrogen)    are   inactive   and   very   difficult   to   digest.       Typical examples  of  these  are  margarine  and   "Crisco"   type  fats.     They  can be    kept    for    years    without    spoiling    and    no    refrigeration    is necessary.     This   is  a  great  commercial  advantage  because  they  can be  put  on  the  shelf  and  dusted  of f  until  someone  does  finally  buy them.
Picture
B.     Artificially    hydrogenated  fats  cause  the  gall  bladder  to become   "lazy".       These  types  of   fat  are  so  saturated   (unreactive) they  do  not  properly  excite  the  gall  bladder  to  release  bile   (also known  as  gall)   to  break  up  the  fats  into  tiny  droplets  so  they  can be  absorbed.     This  causes  the  gall  bladder  to  become   "lazy"   and  the bile  in  the  gall  bladder  to  become  stagnant  and  oily  "stones"   are formed .

C.       Congestion   from   gall   bladder   affecting   the   liver   and pancreas   -   Sometimes  this  congestion  also  backs  up  into  the  liver (especially  after  the  gall  bladder  has  been  removed)   and  can  move down   into   the   pancreas.      A   congested   pancreas   can   cause   a   high blood  sugar  disorder  and/or  cause  the  pancreas  to  digest  itself .

D.      Effects  of   a  congested  gall  bladder  on  the   functions   it should    perform    for    the    body    -    High    quality    fats    providing essential   fatty  acids  are  needed  by  every  cell  in  the  body.     When they  are  not  eaten  or  cannot  be  emulsified   (broken  down  into  tiny droplets)   by  a  congested  gall  bladder,   the  glands  can  starve.     The cells  of  the  body  need  high  quality  fatty  acids  from  fats  and  oils broken   down   into   tiny   droplets   in   order   to   make   many   types   of hormones.       It   is   important   that   the   gall   bladder   be   stimulated properly   by   high    quality    oils    and    fats    which    contain    these essential    fatty   acids.       Then   the   gall   bladder   will    regularly contract  and  push  bile,     a  detergent  for  fat   (emulsifying  agent) , into  the  duodenum   (the  first   12   inches  of  the  small   intestine)  .

This   detergent   action   breaks   down   fats   and   oils   into   very   tiny droplets   so   they  can  be   absorbed  by  the   small   intestine.      Every cell  in  the  body  then  has  the  chance  to  be  nourished  and  the  glands have   a   raw   material   with   which   to   make   many   types   of   hormones. Imitation  butters   are   not   a  good   source   of   digestible   essential fatty  acids.   The  body  cannot  make  essential   fatty  acids,   that   is why  they  are   called  essential.      It   is  good  advice   for  people   to f lush    out    the    gall    bladder    and    liver    regularly   with    a    GALL BLADDER/LIVER   FLUSH     and/or     an    OIL     CHANGE     so    you     ensure     the digestion  of  oils  and  fats.

E.      Craving  sugars  and  starches     -If  high  quality  oils  and fats    are  not  a  part  of  the  diet  a  person  will  usually  crave  sugars and  starches  in  an  attempt  by  the  body  to  make  the  essential  fatty acids.     Unfortunately  this  does  not  work  and  the  craving  continues.

2.     Bowel  Management   Program

Make  sure  a  bowel  management  program is   established  which   ensures   the   bowels   are   moving   two   to   three times   per   day.      With   this   amount   of   bowel   activity   per   day   any "stones"   and/or  liver  debris  will  be  eliminated  through  the  bowel and   not   thrown  up.      In   most    cases   where   the bowels  are  moving  properly,   discomfort  is  relatively  minor  during a    flush.       The   most    common   observation   is    that   of    "pin   prick" sensations   under   the   ribs    as    the   debris    is    leaving   the   gall bladder,   liver  and  pancreas.
3.      Some  of   the  many  benefits   of   doing  a  GALL  BLADDER/LIVER  FLUSH

Many  types   of   maladies   often   clear  up  when   this   is   done   such   as itching,      skin     irritations,      intolerance     to     clothing,      skin disturbances   of   various   types   and   discomfort   between   the   right shoulder  blade  and  the  spine.     Increased  glandular  activity  may  be noticed  as  well  as  an  increase  in  sex  drive  and  better  digestion.

4.        Dietary   considerations

The   body   does    recognize    natural vegetable  oils   (that  have  not  been  turned  into  artificially saturated  fats  by  chemically  adding  hydrogen)   and  butter  and  even lard.     The  gall  bladder  is  excited  by  them  to  release  bile.     Then the  stones  do  not   form.

5.     Vitamins  A  &  D

Use  and  benefit   from  these  vitamins  to  promote better  health,

6.      Herbs   which   clean   and   support   the   liver   and   clean   the   gall bladder

LiverGallbladderTract, which contains  YELLOW  DOCK , BURDOCK, and   MILK THISTLE   SEED  plus others is  excellent   for  keeping  the  gall  bladder  and  liver clean.     Take  ½ tsp   one  to  three  times  per day in water or juice.

7. To flush the   gall   bladder   and   liver

After   the   bowels   are moving  at  least  two  to  three  times  per  day,   drink  1/2  cup  of  OLIVE OIL  for  four  nights  in  a  row.     After  the  olive  oil  is  taken  it  can be  followed  with  some  freshly  squeezed  lemon  juice  or  drink  1/2  cup of  cranberry  juice  or  raspberry  juice  or  combination  of  cranberry and  raspberry  juice.(Unsweetened)
NOTE:       Some   people   combine   the   olive   oil   and   the   juice   and drink  it  at  the  same  time   (this  makes  the  oil  easier  to  tolerate) .

Picture
8.     The  following  morning  the  individual  may  experience  some  nausea

(which  is  caused  by  the  congestion  being  loosened  up  and  waiting  to be    eliminated).       As    the    congestion   is    eliminated   through   the bowels,    the   nausea   will    go   away    (this    is   usually   accomplished within  a   few  hours)  .
As   the   individual   proceeds   with   the   f lush,   the   nausea  will lessen  and  finally  disappear  as  the  congestion  has  been  eliminated.

9.     The   following  morning,    '

“Stones"   and/or  debris  should  be  voided with  the   stool.     They  will   float   and  their  color  ranges   from  the color  of  olive  oil  to  a  dark  jade  green.     The  size  of  the  particles can  be  anywhere  from  a  pinhead  to  the  size  of  a  nickel   (five  cent piece) .     Particles  that  are  eliminated  are  irregular  in  shape  and their  consistency  is  that  of  dough.     They  may  or  may  not  be  covered with  stool   debris.     Their  appearance   is   “bean  shaped"   or   like   an irregular  sphere  of   "play  dough".     They  will  be  quite  pliable  and deteriorate  rapidly.     There  will  often  be  as  much  as  a  double  hand full  of  debris  and   “stones"   at  a  time.

10     Keep  flushing  each  evening

;Until   it  feels  lighter  around  the gall  bladder  area   (upper  right  quadrant  of  the  abdomen)  .     Digestion can  then  proceed  normally.    This  often  takes  several  inches  off  the middle   and   the   person   feels   much   better.      If   any   congestion   is still    left    in   the   liver,    gall   bladder   or   pancreas   area,    the original   complaint   may  continue   to   occur   from  time   to   time.      In that   case,    after   a   period   of   rest   for   a   few   days   or   up   to   two weeks,   the  flush  can  be  repeated.

11.     Variation   (external  application  for  gall  bladder/liver  flush)

For  those  people  who  have  difficulty  drinking  olive  oil  there  is an  alternative  method.     Once  again  the  bowels  must  be  moving  two  to three  times  per  day.     Continue  to  use  the  Bowel  Management   Program during   this   time   if   needed   to   maintain   this.       To   prepare   the application  use  natural  fiber  cheese  cloth  or  absorbent  gauze  large enough  to  cover  the  liver  area.     The  liver  area  is  from  one  side  of the  body  to  the  other,   right  under  the  ribs  about  the  width  of  the hand..     Soak  the  cloth  with  one  cup  of  olive  oil  and  lay  it  over  the liver  area.     Cover  with  plastic  sandwich  wrap  and  fix  in  place  with a  wrap  around  the  body   (an  “ace"   type  wrap  works  well). Leave  this in  place  over  night  then  repeat  this  for  four  consecutive  nights. Remove  and  discard  the  application  each  morning  and  wash  the  area.
Picture
12.     Variation   (external  application)

Rub  1  Tablespoon  of  LiverGallbladderTract Herbal Tea into  the  liver area  and  then  pour  one  full  cup  of  olive  oil  onto  several  layers  of natural  fiber  cheese  cloth  or  absorbent  gauze  and  place  this  over the  liver  area  and  cover  with  plastic  sandwich  wrap  for  the  night. Hold  in  place  with  a  wrap.     This  is  done  for  four  nights  in  a  row.
NOTE:     There  may  be  some  poisons  removed  through  the  skin  with this  method  as  well  as  those  which  are  expelled  internally,   so  do not  reuse  an  application.     To  reduce  any  possible  irritation,   open capsules  of  Vitamin  E  from  100  i.u.    (International  Units,   a  measure of  liquid  vitamins)   capsules  and  apply  this  oil  to  the  liver  area before  and  after  each  application.
13.     To  keep  the  gall  bladder  and  liver  in  good  condition:

A.     Keep    the    spine    in    alignment.

B.      Improve  digestion  with  the  aid  of  a  good  digest aid.   Use DigestTract with each meal to keep the digestive system working optimally.  Avoid  artificially  hydrogenated  oils  and fats    (margarine,    "Crisco"   type   products)

14.      Instructions   for  SEVERE  Gall   Bladder  Attack:

A.     For  a  severe  attack,   if  it  can  be  tolerated,   drink  3/4  of a  cup  or  more   of   OLIVE  OIL  to  help  expel   any  stones.
NOTE:      Some   individuals   have  been  known  to   drink  up   to   four cups   of   OLIVE   OIL   in  order   to  get   the  gall   bladder   and   liver   to flush.     It  is  very  helpful  to  mix  the  Olive  Oil  with  juice   (such  as raspberry,   cherry,   grape,   etc.)   and  shake  well  and  drink  down  very quickly.       This   makes   the   oil   more   tasteful.      Have   some   freshly sliced  lemon  to  taste  after  drinking  the  oil  mixture.

B.        Apply   LiverGallbladderTract Herbal Tea to  the  entire  area  of  the  spine  and under  the  ribs  from  one  side  of  the  body  to  the  other.        (Take  care not   to  get   into  the  eyes  or  on  private  areas  as   intense  heat  and stinging     sensations     can     occur.    No  permanent  harm  will  be  done   so please   do  not  panic.      Flushing  with  water  helps,   but   time   is   the best   remedy.)

NOTE:      Some   individuals   have   found  that   using   a  heating  pad over  the  area  of  the  application  of  herbs  is  very  helpful.

C.     If  there   is  a  need  to  soothe  the  duct   (tube)   of  the  gall bladder,    (discomfort   and/or   pain  being   the   indication)    take   one capsule  of ChronoTract SE  herbal   combination  as often  as  needed.
15.     The  muscles  may  well  have  been  strained  during  this  cleaning process.

At  this  point  a  chiropractic  adjustment   is  recommended. It  is  also  recommended  that  the  individual  avoid  all  artificially hydrogenated  fats   and  continue  the  use  of  the  DigestTract  to  prevent   future  problems.

16.     It  is  finally  recommended  that  two  Tablespoons  of  either  OLIVE OIL  be  rubbed  into  the  liver  area  or  inner  thighs
each   day   to   keep   the   gall   bladder   active   and   avoid   a   sluggish condition  which  could  lead  to  the  formation  of   stones.
