Cheater ChillIn a large Dutch oven, combine:
Ingredients One onion, chopped fine 2 Tbsp. olive oil Saute until translucent. Method To onions, add one can of diced green chilies, undrained 2 packages of ground beef 2 Tbsp. olive oil Saute' until the oil is absorbed into beef. To this mixture, add 2 cans of pinto beans, undrained 2 cans of kidney beans, undrained 1 large can of hot chili beans, undrained 1 jar of hot salsa Stir. |
Finally,
add in spices:
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp unrefined sea salt
hot sauce to taste
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper
L pkg. brown gravy mix
Stir.
Heat, and cook thoroughly.
Serve with favorite condiments.
Yummy with sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese ! Have also used it over tortilla chips and covered in nacho cheese for terrific nachos.
***NOTE: The longer that you cook this, the hotter it gets. So, if you want it mild, cook for 15-20 minutes. If you want it hotter, cook it in a slow cooker for 4-6 hours.
