Best Bread Recipe
2 ½ tsp yeast
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbsp olive oil, grape seed oil or flax seed oil.
2 tbs unsulphered molasses
3 c whole wheat flour
½ c white flour
½ c soy flour
11/2 c warm (not hot) water
1-2 handfuls of combined, assorted unroasted pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and ground flax seed.
Put all ingredients in bread maker. It does not matter what order. Use the setting for white bread. (Even though this is whole wheat) (If bread caves in in the center, add a bit more flour.)
NOTE: If you do not want to make your own bread, eat Ezekiel or Genesis Breads available at health food stores and some large grocery stores.
Vitamix is a great tool to own. It will grind wheat berries to flour, and then kneed it. It will also make nutritional smoothies, and soups as well as great ice cream. We have used it in our kitchen for over 30 years!!
