Why do we feel bad when we are starting to do things right?
Why we may feel badly during recovery is for only one reason; as we begin to physiologically change and balance our body chemistry, other changes and reactions will take place. As the organs begin to detoxify, they can overload the detoxification organs with debris, making us feel lousy - like you were run over with a freight train. This lousy feeling lets us know that what we are doing is working.
It is not easy to change from lifelong habits of eating devitalized, processed foods to a new system of eating natural life-giving foods, supplements and herbs. If we educate ourselves and follow recommendations in the information, provided, it should bring about a metabolic readjustment of our body chemistry.
Our body, in response, may react in a number of surprising ways in this process. The longer the deficiencies have existed, the more prevalent the responses are likely to be. Additional reactions may occur as the body adapts and stabilizes. The reactions that can often occur are: Canker sores, constipation, craving for unusual foods, diarrhea, dry mouth, excessive gas, smelly gas, fever blisters, headaches, increased thirst, insomnia, loss of appetite, migrating pains, nausea, nervousness, rash or hives, running nose, various aches and pains in both joints and muscles, and finally, general weakness. |
When these reactions occur, we can be assured that our body is responding, and changes are taking place. If we think of these as a correcting and necessary crisis, it will be easier to accept them as steps on the road to better health. IF they do occur they are only temporary and are but a small price to pay for long lasting benefits.
In order to be effective, detoxification should be done in a way that is directly related to reversing the effects of toxins and excess waste materials which are inappropriately in the body’s tissues.
The first step, according to studies is to change the diet in order to eliminate any more accumulation of toxins in the already overloaded body.
Second, drinking the optimal amount of water for our body weight to begin aiding the body in flushing toxins away. That would be ½ oz. of distilled water for every pound of body weight. This amount should not exceed 85 oz. Regardless as to your weight, kidneys in a large person are basically the same size as in a small person. More water should be consumed when it is hot, or there is more activity, but the minimum is 64 oz distilled water per day for an average adult.

DETOX Protocol
Consume a blend of cooked (steamed) carrots (for the liver), asparagus (for the spleen, liver, kidneys), beets (for the pancreas) and celery (for the heart), 7-8 times per day for 10 days with sea salt to cleanse the system while using the infra-red mineral light.. After cleaning out the prior stool, there may be no stool for 2 days. There could also be diarrhea. Stool color during the detoxification process generally represents these areas of the body most effected. Do not panic. Things are as they should be. |
5th day; Reddish stool: a marker of pancreas toxins. Could develop extreme itchiness and very odorous sweat
6th day; greenish black: a marker for liver and gallbladder toxicity
9th day ; yellow and very vile
10th day; brown and very foul
After the detox diet; beg to slowly and add a diet of wild rice with garlic, flax oil and apple cider vinegar, raw foods, fresh tomatoes, and avocados, fish, and broiled chicken breast.
Always take a 15 min walk after each meal
